MARAIS Dans les jardins d’Eurytus

Works by Marin Marais (1656-1728) « set for the harpsichord ». For her first solo disc, Marie van Rhijn brings together several of her passions : the French vocal repertoire of the « tragédie lyrique » and the music for the viola da gamba. This CD allows to enter in the colors of the music for King Louis XIV, sometimes orchestral and at other times intimate, at the keyboard of a rare harpsichord from 1679, with a deep sonority, never recorded nor edited before.
